Tricky
Poor old Mrs Pepperpot has got a bald bum. This has happened before but the feathers grew back.Am just wondering what the cause of this could be.Everything else is fine, eggs galore etc.No sign of mites. Could this be a kind of moult.Have had Mrs P for 2 1/2 years and she hasn't moulted yet Ideas please
Mel (& Paul)
Could certainly be a moult - or another bored chook pecking out feathers?
Egluntyne
One of mine went broody, was snapped out of it and then had a spectacular moult.....just in the botty region. She looked very odd...as if she had forgotten to put her knickers on. The area was very red too. It has settled...I reckon it was her hormones. Mel (& Paul)
I know the feelings (hormones, not bare bottom )
