enzed Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 We got Georgina and Geraldine at the beginning of June from omlet. Geraldine stopped laying about 2 weeks ago, with no other adverse effects - she was still eating, drinking, pooing, acting like the daftie she is.. Now she has started again 2 days ago, the first one she laid on the roosting bars (neither of them has ever done that before), now she laid in the nesting box. The thing is, her eggs have completely changed colour, now the shell is almost white, compared to dark brown before she stopped. I thought that they had maybe had a fright, but Georgina has continued to lay as normal. I haven't seen any obvious sign of moulting, and they should only be about 9 months old. Christian Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 She could have run out of ink Laverne lays different coloured eggs all the time, ranging from almost white to pink to beige.
