Guest
Hi ya! I'm not sure if this is going to be of any help to you but as well as the rest of my hens, I have 3 polish cross hens... I'm afriad I don't know when they started laying as I recieved them at POL. One of them is an excellent broody though and hatches all my eggs for me. Mine lay medium sized eggs (larger than bantams but smaller than heavy breeds) and they seem to lay about once every 2 days or so. I hope this helps? Cheers! Cinnamon
Hi I have a little Poland hen called Floss, & she lays really good sized eggs, which have a HUGE yolk in them She is a good, consistant layer & a little sweetheart too. I think she was about 20 weeks when she started producing

Shirl
I think because of the time of year they may not lay until Spring or January at the earliest. My Pekins are theoretically at POL but I'm not expecting eggs 'til Spring. Shirl
