Laurah123 Posted July 29, 2020 Share Posted July 29, 2020 Hello Our chicken Penny is being treated for mycoplasma respiratory disease. She is on Tylan antibiotics 1ml a day of a mix of 10 ml water with 1.1gram powder. She is eating & drinking fine. She picked up & the vet was pleased for about 3 days but is now all hunched up & shaking her head a few times a day. I have started giving her antibiotics again now but I read on FB that brewers yeast or B12 vitamin may help her too. Can anyone suggest anything else I can do? The vet said theres no more they can do after the antibiotics unless she goes to a specialist vet which I cannot afford. How long can a chicken be on antibiotics? Thank you...
