Amanda newbie
You ladies have a lot to answer for. I work is Syston and just realised I am at County HAll tomorrow pm, so may just have to give Merrydale a call, could do a slight detour home lol Some of those chickens look lovely, my worry would be about putting another one in with my two? Oh well another lesson to learn.
BERTIE MCSQUIRTY
Brilliant! Which 3 have you chosen, or is that yet to be decided? (my 3 from there are realy sweet) Did you see her splashed orpingtons? Gorgeous birds! i'm going for 1 pied? 1 copper blue, and a white one (letting my little one choose this one). as soon as i have put on the mesh wire, i'll be giving her a bell. i probably did see the splashed orpingtons but i cant remember which ones they were she's also got some (about 100) rescue battery hens free ranging that she has recently got in. Amanda - you must live near me on the northants/ leics border,i'm in between mkt Harborough and Kibworth. Merrydale is near the foxhunter roundabout enderby narborough, towards whetstone/ blaby on the right as you're going down the road.
Janty
When I was looking for my girls, I looked up various places on the internet. Merrydale came up and I gave the owner a call. She was so helpful and although she didn't breed brahmas herself, she had a friend who did and took two brahmas for me, keeping them until my cube arrived. She was so full of advice that we drove all the way from Suffolk to collect our girls from her. When we got there she took her time, talking to us, clipping our hybrids wings and teaching us how to hold the girls correctly. She was great. We can highly recommend Merrydale. Amanda newbie
Bertie I live in Desborough at the moment but in the process of selling and moving to Market Harborough. I didn't make it to Merrydale today as I was later leaving work than anticipated.
