Poorly chicken

I have an Eglu Go. I've constructed a Heath Robinson arrangement involving an old wheelbarrow, so it's up. I can't bend down easily: surgery for bowel cancer in February - hence the Eglu, as I couldn't manage my wooden floor coop.

Today, my idea took form: my Brinsea ChickSafe door opener / closer [which was on my wooden coop] is now fitted to the Eglu. The structure that my friend's made slots onto the front of the Eglu without marking it in any way.

This means that I DON'T have to get up at sparrow-fart in freezing rain to let the hens out, and they'll put themselves to bed... YES! Result!
