lummy
I have been reading with interest the comments about the benefit of garlec powder for reducing smelly poos. I bought a tub of 'Extra Strong' American garlic powder for horses. However, I am wondering if this will be too strong for my girls. Where do people source the garlic powder and will the equestrian strength be OK!!
jomaxsmith
That's the stuff I bought for mine at the weekend - I've just sprinkled a teaspoon or so in the Grub with their mash. The hens seem to like it! Jo
robskyd
We use that too, plus we cover the pellets in sunflower-oil to get the powder to stick to them. Our 3 chooks wolf it down!!
CatsCube
Yup I have bought the same, and a bit like rob I have bought cod liver oil to 'stick' it to the food, as this will be good for them too.
