muddy muddy muddy

Try stopping them! If they get very muddy, then it can dry out and stick to their claws in little balls. I was  when Hilda came across the patio one day and I could hear her little hob-nailed boots clacking!

I soaked her feet in warm water, which she wasn't keen on, but this enabled me to clean the mud off eventually - it dries rock-hard, although I must say she didn't seem bothered.

If the run is turning into a bit of a quagmire, then I'd recommend putting hemcore/aubiose down - it will keep it dry underfoot.
