Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 Patch my daughters elderly 6 year old guinea pig was really under the weather this morning He's quiet and not wanting to talk to me, and every now and again he tries to move around and has a shaking 'fit' I played it down this morning as she is auditioning for a play today, but I'm wondering if he's on his way to piggie heaven karen x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chickybaby Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 Was it really cold where you were last night? Some guineas hate the frosty cold weather so maybe he just needs a warm up. Downside of this cold weather though is that it does seem to affect guinea pigs health and as he's 6, which is a fantastic age for a piggie, I would maybe consider taking him to a vet if he hasn't improved by now, just in case he's had a stroke.
