jomaxsmith
I watched two of my hens squabbling over something the other day and then wondered why their tug of war looked a bit strange - they'd found an elastic band that must have fallen out of the bin Luckily I was able to get it off them! ktdot
Muriel, my Coral, ate a bright red elastic band when I'd only had them a week or so. I never saw it again, not even in my numerous poop scoopings!
Hen Watch
Few folk on this forum use wire bird feeders to put cabbage leaves etc in for them to peck at through the gaps (some feeders have quite useful wide gaps). I personally put the treats in a heavy metal dog bowl on the floor. They can't knock over the heavy ceramic one I use and it's easy to clean.
