Omlet Staff james Posted February 20, 2006 Omlet Staff Share Posted February 20, 2006 Hi guys, We have spoken to DEFRA and they are happy that the winter shade is a suitable cover to protect your chickens from wild birds and brid flu. We can't say that it is "offically approved" but they think it is fine Yours, James p.s. We are making a run extension which will be available in the next few weeks. When we know exact dates I will let you know.

Cate in NZ
Thanks James, that's nice to know, even if I have just spent a sizeable chunk of me very busy weekend clearing out the garden shed in preparation for moving chickens and eglus into it Mind, I did think that moving them indoors temporarily might give me the opportunity to reseed the lawn especially if the weather remains mild
