Rachel Dobell
I have kept chickens for many years and am aware that it won't be long before we are told to keep our birds under cover due to bird flu. Recently I acquired an abandoned Malay cockerel and 2 of his hens. So far they have all been free-range in my garden, getting along nicely with our other hens. However, I need to look ahead to having to house them due to bird flu risk. We currently have an Eglu house and run but will need another one. Does anyone recommend suitable house/run for the cockerel and 2 hens, with the right kind of covers to meet the bird flu requirements?
