nursechick
Anybody got experience of the chicken netting sold by Omlet.I was thinking about buying it to keep girls both in and out. Is it easy to use, what about when the ground is hard in the summer. Ivy Mavis
Jules.
I have the netting- I ummed and arrred about buying it, but it does the job.I bought the 25m length, and as I only needed 10m I sold the rest of it on ebay & got back the extra money that length had cost me. The poles have little spikes on the end, so it is possible to push them into hard ground.
Olly
It's very good, but there's a lot of it - I eventually cut mine into three separate lengths. I keep meaning to buy some extra poles. I too hesitated about the cost, but it's worth it. Beware though- it will keep chickens in (or out of) a particular area, but it's not predator-proof.
