Tara123
Our local pet shop sells 2 types of bird tonics and I was just wondering if anyone else uses them on here for there chickens? They are Seven Sea's P.Y.M and Johnson's Cage Tonic. The reason I'm asking is that our local pet shop has very little in the way of poultry stuff, so I'm trying to buy what I can use from them instead of having to order it online to save on postage. So I need to know if these tonics are OK or not for my girls. Many thanks Tara
Cinnamon
Hi I have never used those,so can't comment, but I think there are various tonics & so forth in the Omlet shop.Or you can use poultry spice which is also in the shop,& is a dry supplemeny. If you are ever over hare hatch way there is a Countrywide stores opposite the big Wyvale there & they do heaps of poultry stuff.I get my Battles tonic from there. Its worth a trip on a Sunday as there is a fab farm shop called Sheeplands opposite Counrtywide, which was featured in food & drink magazine a while ago
Tara123
Thanks again Sarah I think I know the place where your on about. Is it the garden centre that has all the pet stuff upstairs, tropical fish downstairs and also lots of parrots and other birds for sale in there? Cinnamon
No, but I know the one you mean! Wyvale is before that one,on the other side of the road. Its HUGE - can't miss it. Sheeplands farm shop used to be next door, but moved to over the road a few months ago, & Counrtywide is just opposite too.
