KimW
I read somewhere, that you can keep the eggs for 3-4 weeks, is that right or not? Is this amount of time only if they are kept in the fridge? If they are kept in a rack or chicken crock on the side in the kitchen, not in the fridge, how long would they last? Christian
I have mine in a wire egg box in the kitchen. Recommended 3 weeks out of the fridge, 4 weeks in. Mine never last more than a week. If that!
Hen Watch
28 days from date of lay. Like Christian says, you won't get any that last that long before they are eaten or given away. My children now have scrambled egg every other day, so that's 6 eggs gone in one sitting. I keep my eggs out of the fridge. There's been a recent debate about this on the forum. http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19437
Egluntyne
Yep...28 days. They never hang around long enough.
