furball
Hi i have been offered 2 wyanedotte bantams and 3 pekin bantams, are the wyanedotte bantams bigger than the pekin bantams, if so how much bigger. Any pics appreciated Thankyou
Eyren
I haven't any pekins (yet), but I have a Wyandotte. I'm guessing that the Wyandotte will be taller because they have quite long legs, but I'm not sure about relative body size. Anyway, here's a picture of my two drinking from the glug, which should give you an idea of size: http://club.omlet.co.uk/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24655

Eyren
Admittedly that photo was taken when I first got them, when they were maybe 4-5 months old. Angelica is probably a bit bigger now (sadly Cicely died shortly after we got her, probably stress/heatstroke), but she is still pretty small compared to an Omlet hen!
