Lesley Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Rick Stein has a recipe for corned beef Ginette - it requires salting for a few days and then boiling........it doesn't come out exactly like canned corned beef but it does make a good Hash. I managed to buy some from a small kosher butcher. When the butcher closed down I was unable to buy it so made the salt beef without the pink salt and it tasted just the same.
