Binky Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 Hi You've probably covered this topicd a lot. My Doreen has been not herself for several weeks. Just sits, closes eyes, fluffs up feathers so she looks like a rugby ball. She used to have such spirit! She is eating and drinking fine, but her poo is runny. Is she egg bound? She makes the noises like she wants to lay I have washed her off in a bowl of warm water and then left her sat in front of the hair dryer. I sat with her holding the dryer initially, but realised she loved it so much, I wasn't required! No old egg has been passed yet. What do I do next please? She's a great bird and I want to help her. The symptoms you describe could fit with her carrying an infestation of intestinal worms, a very common thing I'm afraid. It can make them quite poorly, hunched and can also stop them laying.
