HasSumAmi
Has anyone got a Fenton Blue? And are they different from a Skyline. I was looking at them on the Fenton Poultry Website and they do look different to pictures of the Skyline I have seen. They seem to be white bodied with the Cream Legbar grey hair-do. Finally, if they ARE different to the Skylines where can they be purchased from?
Snowy
I thought they were the same as the skyline, but looking at the picture, they are different aren't they? It looks like a breed the farmer has created himself from the cream legbar and araucana - looking at the list of birds supplied they also keep legbars and araucanas. Haven't a clue how reliable they are as layers though. Worth a try as they look lovely birds - very like the lavender araucana.

I tried to call them this morning to see if they had any agents nearer to me, but no answer yet. They look really lovely though...
HasSumAmi
Just spoke to Fenton Farms. Apparently the Fenton is the same as the skyline. They used to cross the Cream Legbar with the Arauncuna but according to the man I spoke to, "It wasn't prolific enough." The image on the website is an old image. Shame - as it was a realy pretty bird.
