What a nightmare neighbour . I hope you're planning to place your chickens' run as close to her garden as you can. And make sure you leave the eglu door open so they wake her up at 4am . (You can wear earplugs .) I would suggest chucking chicken poo over the fence but it might help her plants grow so don't!

I would waste my precious girls poops on her, we have some fun with her tho now, we're a bit mean really but she deserves it...she has trees planted that come over our fence and we chop em off at the first opportunity and chuck em back over into her garden... would'nt want my precious girls eating anything they should'nt off her trees would we?

oh it gets better, she tried to make amends one time recently and meekly knocked on my door and asked if I was missing one of my cats with a smug look on her face trying to lok mortified, she said she had just knocked one over backing off her drive and she hoped sincerely that it was not one of mine, I assured her my cats would not be dumb enough to let her run them over and after arguing for about 5 minutes saying she was absolutely sure it was one of mine..... I got the last laugh when without saying a word I glanced down at my feet and calmly asked both my cats who were sat at my ankles wondering who had dared interuppt there cat nap.... and I asked them..."have any of you girls been out playing under cars today?", my eldest cat who is 18 looked up at me as she does whenever I speak to her and replied"miiiaaaooowww" in an indignant tone meanig "as if we would allow her to run us over give us some street cred mom"!!! "we did'nt reach 19 and 11 years without having some sense" the neighbour huffed at them and walked back to her house......

After reading your posts I now have tears of rolling down my cheeks...thank you for making me belly laugh for the first time in a little while

 

Although...on a more serious note your neighbour sounds like a complete batch (my polite version of you know what ) to me. I have a 'strange' part-time neighbour next door...he only visits his house a couple of times a week but still manages to put out two large black wheelie bins..heaven only knows what he is putting in them He isn't man enough to put them side-by-side outside his own house and puts one smack bang in the middle of his and our garden on the path I am almost expecting a letter from the Council cos if anyone is going to complain it sure as heck will be him Also hoping all our surrounding neighbours don't complain either...you never know what people will do

maybe the lady with the licence question was having a joking dig at politics-how crazy it's getting..how it's illegal to feed chucks veg peelings and that?

remember to get your licence to breathe well in advance or you'll suffocate while you wait for them to process it!

well she's managed to get in my way again and blamed it on me...lol she's a crazy old hag... imagine this... I'm driving down the road and indicate to pull up outside my house or just past to reverse into my drive, my brake lights were on, my reverse lights were on and my hazards were on, (I'm a very considerate driver and like to reverse onto my drive so as to pull out forwards in a morning without running any cats over ) so everyone was happily driving around me cos I was letting them know what what I was doing...everyone had passed and it was clear to reverse onto my drive, no signs of next doors wanting to get off her drive which is what she usually does when someone visiting here parks half a foot across her driveway.. even tho they are only staying 30 seconds..... anyways I begin my manouver ....but some one is blocking my drive now and has pulled up across my drive so I can't get into it.... so I look in my rear view mirror and next door neighbour is out of her car walking towards me........ "excuse me " she says... "do you mind moving your bloody car from in front of my drive only I'm trying to get in"? so I politely state " I'll make you an appointment at the local opticians for morning shall I? and a retest with your driving instructor as you oviously are blind and stupid...I'm sat here" I add."with my hazards flashing, my brake lights on and my reverse lights on waiting to get into my drive and you ...you stupid wqoman have pulled right across my drive so I can't get in..." so she says "if you move down the road I can get in then you can get in" so I politely replied..I'll tell you what, you back up as I've been sat here almost 10 minutes now and I'll reverse into my drive shall I? or I can just turn my engine off and wait for you to move till I can get onto my drive being as you are blocking it...." so after hmmmppphing and huffing she got back in her car and reversed backwards allowing me to get onto my drive....... silly old bottom wind(sensitive name for something else with four letters and begins with f ) she is one crazy old moo.....wonder whats next.... i DREAD TO THINK OF THE STUPIDITY THAT WOMAN WILL STOOP TO..., NO WONDER SHE'S NOT MARRIED AND ON HER OWN!!! anyway that's today adventure sorted...god I'm soooooooooooooooooo patient I really wanna throttle the living daylights outta her!

Nought as queer as folk!! Sounds like two lots of neighbours we lived between in our old house! People are sooooo strange EXCEPT those that keep chickens cos we are all GREAT!!! Clare x
