Apples are tricky to start with and involve 2 chickens one at each side stabbing it with beaks while it rolls round, and the 3rd (Megan ) swiping ready-pecked pieces and running off with them. Once they got past the skin there was carnage......... 1 hour later there was a stump of half a core surrounded by a ragged piece of apple. They didn't core it, just left the bottom.
