Bedding

Yes, you can use it, and we were advised to by our Omlet delivery man as shredded paper is the most eco friendly way as you are not buying anything new - you're just using your domestic waste if you like.

However, after having it blow all round the garden, and sticking to muddy chicken feet and getting carted everywhere, we went for Easibed

I do believe that some omleteers mix up shredded paper with bedding to make the bedding go further - this might work as a 'halfway house'.

But only in the nesting box or poo tray, unless you have something quite high sided to stop it blowing out of the run. Like clear corrugated plastic maybe.
