Mutrix Farmers
As OH and I work full time, our girls often lay after we have left the house in the morning. Will this cause the girls to become broody or peck the eggs if they are left in the nest box all day?
nicki9
We frequently leave ours till then and have even left them overnight before with no problem at all. Just more lovely eggs to look forward too.
lisa33
Hi, Andyman and I don't normally get home till 5.30 - 6 o'clock. We have not had problems with the girls pecking the eggs. And although Bobbi & Cynthia have both been broody in the past I don't think this is to do with the eggs being in there as each time they have gone brrody at the weekend. Even in winter when we have to shove one of them out of the way because they've gone to bed they have not broken their eggs. Hope this helps
