all quiet and peaceful overnight.. i let all the girls out this morning and they happily ate breakfast together, then sunbeam went back into the house and made quite a bit of noise!

 

went to check, and yes!! our first ever egg, and perfectly placed in the centre of the nest box.. what a clever hen
