becks
Would it be possible to creat a sticky with link a to all the people's pictures of their fabulous extended runs / chickenopolis'. I think it would be helpful for all those that want to try and build something similar. i.e. ME!! I keep trawling through looking at the various ones but still can't work out how to get started so want to do a side by side comparison! If anyone's got any tips I'd be most grateful as my chooks need a new larger area to play in as freeranging in the garden is now out of bounds! Guest
Although we have designed our own run to fit our space, I have found Cinnamon's pictures on her blog on www.eglu.co.uk really helpful for getting things done in the right order. We've also found it very informative for how to support the roofing. We're still in the process of building ours, but I will try to post some pictures when it is finished. I don't know how to put pictures in my blog (which isn't worth looking at yet, so please don't!) Maybe someone can tell me!

Guest
This is as far as we have got: We still have to put on a plastic roof to keep out the rain (and if necessary the dreaded wild bird droppings). We're hoping to do some more next weekend. Eagle eyes will see why I haven't had to mow the grass!
Linda
Wow, that looks great Ginette! Lots of lovely space for the chickens and a good view from your window!
Guest
Plenty of room for more chickens! OH is only just beginning to wonder if I'm serious! The children suggested putting a door in instead of the window so that we can have direct access from the house
becks
Wow looking good - although grass or lack of not looking so good! Perhaps if I show OH your lack of grass it will spur him on to making the new area for our girls - due to our new decking they are now confined to the run till the new area is built. MIL is now chomping at the bit as is worried I am neglecting the girls by not letting them free range
