OverWyreGrower Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 My OH went to a "fur and feathers" auction yesterday with a friend, and hasn't stopped enthusing about it... He is now on about building some sort of huge aviary at the bottom of the garden and having more chickens and letting them free range rather than be in a run, and actually selling the eggs, as opposed to giving a few to friends and family He is also after some Quail, but I don't think they're as practical as having chickens, but he keeps going on about Quail eggs as a delicacy and I have to keep saying "what will we do with them?" chucknette Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 That sounds fantastic! I started off with two now have seven (lost One) and now want another two. With the overload of eggs that I get I give them away to people at my daughters work place. They always come back for more so they must be good. I also have wanted quails I do keep researching them but I havent taken the plunge yet.
