my buff yesterday, laid i big egg today another one, but its soft today can i scramble it and give to the chickens?

do i just scramble it or take the soft bit of it? im sure it is a double yolk as well

i'd leave it on, extra calcium. We bake and crush the egg shells and feed them back to the girls so I don't see why you can't scramble it, soft shell and all.

 

Unless there's a good reason that I've overlooked?

 

we sometimes get eggs with cracks in and throw them in the bin, never thought of scrambling them and feeding them back to the chickens, will do that in future.

As it is a softie...I'd guess that there wouldn't be much calcium to be had, just rubbery membranes, which one wouldn't normally scramble.
