chickens needing home

hi all,

 

due to messy house moving i have 5 chickens that need temporary home for the next 2 months

 

1 large wyandot cockerel

1 small bantam light sussex cock

1 black rock hen

1buff orp hen

1 fresian (rare) hen

 

i live near cambridge

 

any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry Andy, I hope someone can help - I am too far away, but even if I were nearer I couldn't take a cockerel, and I suspect that may be the case for a lot of people on here.

 

I hope you get some responses, but you might want to try looking elsewhere just because most of the people who post on here are, like me, suburban chicken keepers who only have hens. Cockerels don't work too well in a built-up area!

 

I do hope you find someone who can help you out.

thanks for the tips everyone, i'll keep trying though.

 

it's all very sad, the cockerel is so lovely, he's so old his top beak is worn down so much and he makes a lovely noise at 5am!

 

anybody else got any ideas i'd love to hear them

HI I think I emailed you but not too sure. I m not good with computers . This is the first time ive posted on here. been reading for ages We are thinking about keeping chickens ,ordered chicken house,arriving next week. I have got a book on chickens and been on a chicken course so we are serious. Would love your chickens for 2 months but unfortunatly cant have the cockeral. neighbours would hate it. if interested please Pm me
