What a commotion!!!!

Recommended Posts

Help please!!!! I've just had the girls creating down the garden and found them chasing a baby ?wild? rabbit :shock: - I've managed to catch the poor thing but I'm not sure what to do now - I can't work out how it's got in as the garden is well fenced to stop the girls getting out - I've put it in a box with some straw as I'm scared to let it go unless the girls go for it again or the cat gets it -

What do you think????

does it look like a wild rabbit? are you next to open fields? Are you able to pop it back over the fence so it can find its way home?

Poor thing.

What sort of colour is it? That might give you an idea if it is wild or not.

it's a cute little brown rabbit - probably only 6" long at the most - I've spoken to the neighbours nearby but no one is missing any pets. Our garden backs onto a railway line and beyond that is another row of houses and then the fields but I can't believe this tiny thing could have come so far. OH wants me to just put it over the back wall onto the railway embankment and I know he's probably right but I know something bad will happen to it. There is always the local animal sanctuary - I might ring them in the morning.

Thanks for the help and advice
