4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Have just been out to collect the eggs from our gorgeous girls and there in the box has got to be the biggest egg yet that they've laid!

 

Containing my excitement I rushed in, weighed it and its 61g! That's the heaviest so far from Maisie and she's being laying just under a week! What a clever girl!

I know its not a massive weight but for her age and how long she's been laying I'm really pleased.

That's a good sized egg!

I think it would be classified as Medium to Large.

(I think 65g is the shop standard for large)

Have collected the eggs from the girls today and Maisie has laid me a 47g one. I'm still very pleased with that. It's like she was saying yesterday, 'look what I can do mum, please keep me...' (that comes following my threatening Daisy (Rocket Ronnie) that if she doesn't calm down then she's going...)
