Yeah!! Ambers first 60g+ egg what a whopper compared to all the others Bluebelle and Saffron are a close second, new addition Ebony yet to lay she's only a baby.

Ooh I got my first decent sized normal shelled egg from Roast today - 62g. It would be lovely it that was a double yolker. Might have to cook it once DH gets in from work

our biggest was cocoas 1st at 46g!! only had 5 eggs so far, sugars laid everyday, Cocoa is every other at moment. Her second was 42g so she's no where near yours yet!

Miso is tending to lay the largest eggs at present and this week gave us a whopping 82g egg She and Kilo have both worked up to the 52-56g size on a regular basis now. It's Krasi that's lagging behind with her eggs still in the upper 40s and the occasional softie. They are having the same balanced diet and so we guess she's just taking longer to get into production. Wonder if it's anything to do with breed or just her personal disposition. They are all well and appear happy so that's the important thing to us.
