*mummy_hen*
Collecting my ex-batts one week tomorrow and have bought everything they need i think. The only thing i am wondering about, is what extra's i should add to their diet to aid them with their feather-regrowth and general strength building. Am going to get some poultry spice as thing that is supposed to be good and have heard cider vinegar can be good for them. Can anyone suggest anything else that may be worth adding to their diet, at least whilst they are improving but indefinately if neccessary? Thanks, Amy
Egg Lou
Hi Can't really offer much help as very new to chooks but wanted to say good luck with your girls! One thing I have taken in from here is that limestone flour and garlic seem to be a good everyday extras for all hens.. I use for horses too so have added a couple of extra pots to my shopping list!
