Stevie
Earlier,Sage was sitting hunched up on my picnic bench not looking too happy.I offered her some mixed corn from my hand which she refused which i thought was odd cos she normally would tear your arm off at the elbow for tasty treats! While i was cooking dinner-i looked out of backdoor and both her and Onion were sat on decking handrail, but there was two softy eggs on the deck which she obviously laid while perched there.Sage is still the only one laying and has only ever missed one day since 22nd April when she started so was envitable she would have a softy at some point. Sage & Onion She's absolutely fine now and is happily stuffing her face again on lawn!

Stevie
aww bless her, that's a cracking photo! I'd never seen a softy before so to get two in a row was a bit if a suprise! Im suprised just how squishy they are! They are natural posers for the camera though and always 'vogue' when you point one at em'.
Hen Watch
It is a bit of a shock. When I first saw one, the yolk and white had been eaten, and I just found what I thought was paper, but in fact was incredibly thin egg shell.
