chickencam Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 It does depend on how huge is huge, but we boiled Dippy's 98g egg on Friday for OH's breakfast for 4 minutes from boiling. We used the put egg in pan pour boiling water over and bring back to the boil method then 4 minutes and it was perfect. i boil most 60-70g eggs for 3 minutes using this method. the shape of the egg makes a difference too, one of my Pepperpots lays eggs that are quite round and they take a minute longer than bigger eggs from my Light Sussex which are very tapered and pointed at one end.
