It was on the 25th April '08 that the Omlet van arrived with our our order

1 bright red cube and four chooks however we think a mistake had been

made as we received three chooks and one vulture (thats what we think she looks like, she is so ugly) but we all know the story of the ugly duckling!!

 

Sybill was the first to lay after just three weeks, then a couple of soft shells from Marge but thats all behind her now , Rosie laid her first today after alot of screaming in the nesting box an egg the size of a malteser was dropped in the garden, Vera the vulture we think still has a week or so to go.

 

A big thank you to April who taught us so much when we attended her hen party at the end of March. We can highly recommend the one day course to anyone who is thinking of diving into the world of chooks.

Yep need pictures! Ours our called the Raptors collectively - they're actually very pretty but beauty is only skin deep
