It fell off today so I'll be watching the fluffy knickers of the other girld very closely in case they disappear again! I noticed that she seems to have a white lump at the top of her beak (nostril!) where her comb starts. The others have much smaller bumps. Could this have caused the bumper bit to fall off?? mayflower Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 The bumper bit fell off Alice two weeks ago. She was fitted the anti pecking device because she nearly killed Suki. I was really nervous at first, thinking she would resort to her old tricks. But No! All is quiet and Alice is now a lovely sociable hen.
