StephanieSB
For anyone using the run pegs, can you tell me if they are difficult/troublesome to take out? I intend to move the cube and run every few days, but wanted the pegs for extra anti-fox protection -- but need to know if they are meant to be set in place for a stationary run? or do they stand up to being put in and taken out regularly? Thanks.
Egluntyne
They are very useful and do stand up to being taken out and put in regularly.

daj198
Are you talking about the ones from Omlet? I was thinking of getting some as they look better than the tent pegs I'm using. Really expensive for pegs though... Is it worth it?

Jules.
I don't have the Omlet ones, but use the ones which came with my composter. They are a big long plastic corkscrew shape which has a handle on the top a bit like an old fashioned tap- they are really easy to put in & take out
StephanieSB
Well, I know my husband has pegs from one or other of his camping tents that he hasn't used in years. I will try those before setting down another £17 -- some things from Omlet are much cheaper than from any other souce, but other things... really too much. poachedegg
We use these and they are very strong and substantial and quite cheap too! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-x-8-Heavy-Duty-Plastic-Tent-Pegs-Camping-Peg_W0QQitemZ380029899728QQihZ025QQcategoryZ36120QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (Sorry don't know how to do short links ) Edited May 27, 2008 by Guest
