This is going to sound really stupid but I might as well ask, theres loads of knowledge on this forum!

 

Is it possible to make homemade egg boxes from s"Ooops, word censored!" paper / old egg boxes / cardboard? I know you can recycle paper yourself by soaking it in water and moulding it, but is there some way of getting hold of egg box moulds?

Ooo, no idea if you can buy egg box moulds but I would be interested in making my own egg boxes too

 

How about seeing if you can get hold of a polystyrene box and then making some paper mache with old newspapers or something and then using the polystyrene box as a mould??

I wonder whether wire gauze once pressed into an egg box to shape it would make a mould. Then the water could drain out of the pulp too. I might try that...
