4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi,

Please could anyone tell me when will my Chooks moult? Is there a set time of year or do they moult at random? Finally, do I give them any special treatment during moulting or just leave them to it.

Mine haven't moulted since I got them last September so I'm no expert. I think it happens at random times, but I may be wrong.

 

I think I've read that you can give them tuna (spring water) or chick crumbs to help with feather regrowth.

 

Hopefully a moulting expert will be along shortly!
