Tara, I don't know anything about ducks and chickens together so hesitate to offer any advice. But I think that there are a fairly limited number of duck owners on here, certainly there are a few, Lesley, Goonergirl & Duckmomma are just 3 whom I can think of who may crop up later and offer some good advice. In the meantime it really might be worth posting on Practical Poultry with the same query as it seems to be a busier forum with quite a lot more experienced duck owners.

I hope that you get a satisfactory answer to your query though :D

Tara. My call duck drakes and campbell girls free range with the hens in my small garden though they tend to keep themselves to themselves. If they get to close to the hens then the girls show them who's boss....

Not sure i would have them in a run together though - unless its REALLY big - what would the sleeping arrangements be?

Having said all this one of my ex batts insists on sleeping in the ducks eglu at night rather then the chickens one. The ducks i think sleep in the run though.
