Karen & co.
Sorry to sound like a computer numpty but my daughter is asking for a bebo account, and I'm not sure how safe this is She has been given the drill about using the internet from school and home, she is 14 and usually really sensible. I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts? Karen x
Blackrocksrock
I personally dont like these things but BEBO is alright provided they do not make it available to public to view - just for their own friends and families. I would think by using it in a very basic way that its open to be used and abused as so many things are if not watched. So say OK but a private not public account. Guest
As said already - keep the profile PRIVATE not public. Believe it or not a colleague (yes an ICT teacher!) actually posted a picture of herself in a bikini on her myspace - on a public profile. Apparantly she was surprised when the picture started wallpapering the entire school. Things get around VERY quickly. BEBO is very popular with the teenagers, as is myspace and facebook is catching on too, although at the moment Facebook has caught on better with slightly older people.
