We ordered a couple back in January thinking they might come in handy if we ever had to have a sick chicken in the house the some reason.

 

However, don't bother ordering them - they never did arrive and their customer service is rubbish!

I think that they're awful - "a beloved family pet that you can't bear to put outside" Poor chickens, they are meant to be outside with companions - not cooped up in a house

they are very funny and made me chuckle, but my chooks are free range and they love the outdoors. we do bring esta in the house and she falls asleep on the carpet but then we put her back this is only occasionally though x

 

a clever creation for like you said an ill chicken that needs to be in the house. I might actually get one for Kev to stop him, well you know what I meen!!
