did anyone see the baby cranes on SW? They were hilarious, I was hooting with laughter watching them running round with their wing stumps in the air, trying to knock 7 bells out of each other and the people in the bee keeping suits trying to seperate them. The funniest thing I've seen in ages

Yes I watched that! It took me a while to work out why they were dressed in white coveralls while herding the little cranes around! Lovely though

It was brilliant wasn't it?

 

They wear the suits so that the baby cranes don't associate humans with their upbringing. Bill was dressed in one of the suits last week.

I think they were adorable, so gangly but fluffy

 

Did you see the ringed plover chicks stumbling about, or goldeneye ducks falling from the nest box? They were really adorable too.

I watch it all, I think it's brilliant! When the ringed plovers went for that big wood pigeon

 

The cranes though had me almost in tears with laughter, it was the whole thing with the blokes in bee keepers suits and litter grabbers (made to look like adult cranes' heads) all running about.

 

I'm chuckling now just thinking about it
