Laura & CTB
Sorry you're having trouble with Myrtle. I would suggest fitting her with a bumper bit asap - she will still be able to eat and drink but not able to peck or pull feathers out. Keep an eye on the victim in case blood is drawn - you may need to seperate them although I suggest a while in solitary might not do Myrtle any harm!! Hope it gets sorted soon for you. Mel (& Paul)
http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12641 This might help - its about bumper bits. Do your girls have things to do in the run - boredom can cause bullying - try haning up greens / melons / lettuces to give them something to do - or try layers mash rather than pellets - they take longer to eat mash so have less time for bullying. Good luck

Gallina
Bumper bits are only 10p: get a small supply, because sometimes they break, and sometimes you drop one. And you may need one for another hen in future. They are wonderful.
