pencilbeckett
Hi All I think i may just be worrying because they are new but my little ex batt has a baggy swollen bit to the lower part of her chest. Is this normal she is feather bare thats why i can see it. Thanks Jenni
Snowy
It could just be her crop - can be worrying when you see it full for the first time! Looks quite swollen and lopsided at the front? If it is her crop, it should empty of food overnight and she should be back to normal in the morning. If not, come on and tell us.
Egluntyne
I agree...it is probably her crop. It can look rather alarming when there are no feathers covering it. If it has gone by morning, then all is well.

mayflower
Hi My little Lucy has this and it looked terrible. However, it was simply due to the fact she had no feathers there so her chest looked enormous and slighlty to one side. As long as she is feeding OK, no need to worry.
