ajm200
I've got a fitbug pedometer as part of my hubbies health insurance but have been very bad at getting off my bottom and getting enough steps done since falling pregnant. Are there any other fitbug members out there who'd be interested in starting an Omlet fitbug league (on fitbug site) for a bit of healthy competition? ajm200
fitbug is good but can be expensive for standard members. I think it is about 80 quid a year... cheaper than weigh"Ooops, word censored!"chers online. They have a website you can check out www.fitbug.com. It's a good quality pedometer that you can sync with their website. It records 7 days worth of steps, both normal and aerobic (min 10 mins non-stop walking). They set you a weekly target to beat and also offer a diet plan that is like a very basic version of the weigh"Ooops, word censored!"chers website. As I mentioned earlier, we got ours through our heatlh insurance and if you are looking to increase your activity level and goal driven it is great. It has got our lazy household up and moving! I went from about 3k steps a day to between 12 and 20k and lost 25lbs along the way going from size 18 to 14.. Also I've gained very little excess weight being pregnant but do need a kick to keep my moving at the mo. My OH isn't into dieting but loves the challenge of having to reach 10 or 12.5k steps per day and goes out of his way to reach his goals. He's dropped loads of weight too... and definately doesn't diet. He ate 20 fairy cakes in 3 days last week along with a couple of junk food lunches. Basset
Hi I got a fitbug a couple to months ago, and loved using it. The novelty has worn off now!!!! - so a league is just what I need to get me motivated again. I'd love to join in.
