Hello,

My eglu is sited on grass and gets moved around about every 7-10 days but I've noticed now that ants and earwigs keep moving into the eglu. I've just been brushing them away every time I go to the egg port but just wondered if they would annoy the chickens at night and get into their feathers or not?

Any comments welcome.

They will preen them off and enjoy them as a tasty snack.

Yes I agree with Eggluntine, my go crazy for woodlice. Ants not so keen on, but do love the eggs if we find a anthill.

 

I wouldnt worry.
