4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

.... till out cube with extension and 3 chickens arrive. We are getting the last bits for them at the weekend. We have fenced off a 4x4 metre bit of the garden so they can free range in there when we are at home, then when we around to superviser them with the kids (aged 2 and 3) we might let them have roam of the garden for a while. Cant wait! Am a bit nervous about the handling etc. But im sure we will soon get used to it.

We got our two chickens yesterday - Barbara and Margo, and are so excited! We have 2 girls as well, 1 1/2 and 3, and they went crazy when they saw the chooks, I have never seen my eldest daughter so excited. She has taken complete ownership over the chickens and was telling me all about what we had to do to look after them - amazing as she is terrified of most animals.

 

Your children will love them and the names are so cool! I hope they settle in well

Hmm, gives me an idea naming chooks after Bob Geldof's daughters ... so many good names, not enough chooks (yet).
