I spotted it earlier on bbc news and couldn't resist having a look. Perhaps it's just me being a sentimental, silly old so and so, but I really felt for him and hope that everything works out well.

I feel sorry for him too but can totally sympathise with the way he's feeling. I'm glad his employers were happy to play along - and his friends... Hope we get an update at one stage, should be interesting to see where he'll go.

I know I certainly felt like disappearing when my marriage went wrong. I think he is incredibly brave for doing what he's doing. I know I couldn't just walk away from everything.
