quickcluck
Does anyone know if the grub that comes with the cube is big enough for 6 chooks? Have got an extra drinker already, but what about the food???
Peachy77
I think i read somewhere on the website or brochure that it can feed 10 chickens for 2 days, the same goes for the super glug. Hope this hepls.
ajm200
I believe it is big enough. e have five hens and bought a second one as they used to squabble to get to the food as only two hens can feed at once. We've been lucky enough to have no serious bullying in our little flock and wanted to avoid it starting over food.
Egluntyne
The grub that comes with the cube is exactly the same as the one that comes with the Eglu.....or at least mine was.
Phosphorus
I have 7 hens in a Cube in a purpose built run. We started off with just the one grub and one drinker but one of the hens was quite low down in the pecking order and had to wait for food (the others would see her off). Now she is laying it has changed a bit, but we put an extra grub and glug in for them all - seemed to work a treat. I would get an extra grub so that they are not all queuing first thing Having said that mine seem to all have the same favourite grub - maybe they just like the colour blue (we have a blue and purple!).
